Douglas Wingcock: Douglas the frontman, the… singer. The shouting, howling, crooning creature. The spitting, screaming, shifty shrieker. His world designed by words, the speaker.
Douglas auditioned and joined the Caste in it’s genesis. As the band evolved, so did his function. Being the primary lyricist, Douglas was able to superimpose tales of wasteland wandering, alien angels, and proprietary synthetics onto the Caste’s developing sound. After lineup tweaks and some local success based in tight, disciplined playing and unpredictable live shows, a five song album was recorded. Enter phase two. Practice, gig, write… change bassist. Twice. The musical paradigm shifted, and the Caste’s own bastardized metal became something different. Motivated insanity and jagermeister, Douglas embraces the inspiration.
